Congratulations to the state of Vermont for being the first state in the union to enact Marriage Equality not through a court order, but because IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!!

WOOT!!!!!!!! *Parties and does happy dance*

It is now the 4th state to have marriage equality, Iowa went of Friday, Massachusetts was a few years ago and there is also Connecticut.

This is truly a great day because on top of everything else, Washington D.C. council members voted unanimously to recognize marriages performed in other states!!!!!!

What a truly amazing day for equality!
